the thesis

A power company, managed as one connected system.

We believe a power company can be managed as one connected system, where knowledge, judgment and execution flow across functions—allowing an expert management team to oversee a much larger and more complex fleet.

What limits this today

Knowledge and work are often fragmented across people, teams and systems. As a portfolio grows, more information must be assembled, decisions coordinated and explanations repeated. Expertise is consumed by keeping the business aligned, reducing the time available for analysis, decisions and improvements. This coordination burden forces teams to add headcount as their portfolios grow.

Why shared knowledge becomes practical

AI can retrieve and interpret knowledge expressed in documents, correspondence and other sources, making it available when work needs it. Connecting those sources through shared definitions and maintained updates can give teams a current picture of the business. People spend less time reconstructing context, and relevant information can reach decisions across functional boundaries.

How knowledge becomes action

Working through real cases with experts makes their inputs, criteria, tradeoffs, decisions and ensuing actions explicit. Software can apply more of that captured judgment and execute the associated workflows, including the human approvals they require. This allows expertise to support more work and gives the organization an approach it can inspect and improve.

Why connections across the business matter

HSE, operations, commercial activity and finance affect each other. An outage changes expected production, affects a forecast, helps explain a variance and informs reporting. A shared system can carry those relationships into the affected workflows, connecting what changed and why to the decisions and actions required elsewhere. More complex work can remain coordinated as it grows.

Why capability can keep expanding

Mapping work exposes ways to simplify it. Faster tasks and parallel agents expand capacity for additional data, cases and previously impractical work. AI coding agents make useful changes easier to build and integrate. People and AI can propose better approaches, test them and review recorded execution. Retaining validated improvements allows operating expertise and capability to accumulate in the system.

The resulting bet is that portfolio scale and complexity can grow substantially faster than the management team. More responsibility can be carried by a coordinated, improving system, extending the reach of human judgment and enabling new and improved outcomes.

What CasaCode is building

CasaCode is building an enterprise AI system to connect knowledge, judgment and execution across a power business—from HSE and operations to commercial management and finance. Our starting focus is the work of asset-management and commercial-services teams, including bidding, budgeting, valuation and owner reporting. By carrying more of that work in a shared system that improves over time, CasaCode aims to let an expert management team oversee a much larger and more complex fleet.
